Yerba Mate Green — 250 g

Description

Mate is the drink of the gauchos and arguably the most social tea in South America: one calabash passed around the circle. Our mate is green, clean leaf without stems, with a full herbal flavor and a light smokiness.

How to brew: traditionally, in a calabash through a bombilla, water at 70–80°C (not boiling!). Simpler — in a French press: one tablespoon per cup.

Origin: Argentina, Ilex paraguariensis, aged 12 months.
