Ushamana was born on the French Riviera — where the mountains meet the sea and the evenings smell of palo santo. There are two of us, and we came to shamanic practices from different directions: one through the jungle, the other through the therapist’s chair. We met in the middle.
Who we are
Dmitri
An experienced psychonaut and researcher of Amazonian traditions. Behind him are years of personal practice with hapé, kambo and plant ceremonies, trips to visit practicing masters, and a long path from “try everything” to “understand what you’re doing.” Dmitri is responsible for the range: every hapé blend, every kambo stick and every drum in the catalogue has passed through his hands before reaching you.
Yuri
A psychoanalytic psychotherapist. He looks at shamanic practices with the sober eye of someone who works with the psyche every day: where a practice supports you, and where it becomes escapism; who should start, and who should wait. Yuri is responsible for what sets Ushamana apart from “just another powder shop” — the guides, the contraindications, and the principle of knowledge first, tool second.
Retreats by the sea
We don’t just ship packages. On the French Riviera we hold intimate retreats and ceremonies: cacao circles at dawn, hapé practices, drum and breathwork sessions — in small groups where everyone has time and space. If you’d like to join, write to us; we put the schedule together each season.
Our approach
- Honest descriptions. We don’t promise healing or attribute medicinal properties to these products. We write it as it is: tradition, composition, technique, contraindications.
- Education before sales. Every practice comes with a detailed guide. If, after reading, you decide a practice isn’t for you — that’s a good outcome too.
- 18+ only. We deliberately restrict our audience and ask that contraindications be taken seriously.
- Sourcing ethics. We work with suppliers who pay collectors fairly and don’t deplete the source — from palo santo harvested from fallen trees to kambo collected without harming the frog.
